About us

My name is Sherry Holland and I am your traditional and classic goodie preparer. I realized at a young age that God truly blessed my hands with the gift of placing a smile on people’s face with the joys of my food. I come from a traditional southern family with some great old traditional favorites such as old fashioned tea cakes, pound cakes, pickles and homemade chicken salad just to name a few. I am paying homage to the ancestral lineage of both of my grandmothers Mary Elizabeth Griffin affectionately known as (Sis Mae) and Melvina Ardelia Harris affectionately known as (Mul). My grandmothers both instilled the art of cooking while God blessed me with the gift. I introduce to you Sis Mae’s Goodies, where I brought the traditional art of southern cooking with a classic twist from me. My mantra is “ A Dash of Grannie’s Goodness with a Sprinkle of Sherry’s love.” Remember it is always a great day for a snack! Enjoy Thank you.
